OMG! It’s that time again. 😱 Are you prepared for the biggest love night of the year? The awesome tips that I’ll be sharing with you can be used on Valentine’s Day or any special night throughout the year.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and time is whining down! On top of that, money might be a little funny, you really want to avoid the crowds that night and don’t have the slightest idea on what to do. If you have kids like I do, it might almost be impossible to find a babysitter to watch them for a few hours on a Tuesday night. Believe me, I know your pain. No need to worry, you don’t have to break the bank or even leave your home in order to celebrate this night of love with your boo. 😍 I’m all about saving money. Aren’t you?

My husband and I really wanted to do something special for our date night but we had to do everything at home. We put our heads together(mostly my ideas. Lol) and created the most magical night of our lives. We actually did this last year but I just had to share with you how we did this because it was the best date night I’ve ever experienced. I mean, it was even better than dining out at Ruth Chris’ restaurant. Now that’s saying something!

Ok, let’s get to the good stuff! πŸ’•Here’s some awesome tips…

*First, decide on what you want to eat for dinner the night of Valentines. You don’t have to go all out with the food unless you really want to. Prepare enough just for the two of you! To keep it simple, a nice suggestion for dinner would be salad, lasagna, salmon or baked chicken, fruit(s) and sparkling cider or wine. All this should cost under $30!

*Try to use all white dishes and champagne glasses to make things look really fancy. If you don’t have it, no biggie. Use matching plates and bowls, get creative. Or guess where you can get really expensive “looking” dishes and trays? Dollar Tree! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Yesssss….. You can’t beat the prizes there because all items are $1.

*Now decorating the room was fun for me. My husband and I did everything in our bedroom because it’s so spacious but you can setup in your dining room or wherever you prefer. =) Get some candles and rose pedals(both at Dollar Tree) and jazz up the room to your liking. Be creative! Have fun tossing those rose pedals all over the place. Lol

*Play romantic jazz music softly on Spotify or Pandora to set the tone. Dim the lights or just use the candles.

*Ladies, style your hair, put on a little makeup and pick out your sexiest outfit! This is your man and you want to leave a long-lasting impression on him once this night is over. Ask your man to dress up as well.

Remember, take time to slow dance with each other and stare into one’s eyes. Magic will surely happen on Valentine’s Day for you two! Yessss….! Put the kids to bed extra early and turn off your cell phones to avoid interruptions. 🚫 Above all, have fun and enjoy each other’s company, talk about how much you love him(or her) and chat about the future you both anticipate together.
I promise you, with a little effort, this will be the best night of your lives!

I would love to hear your feedback and how your special date night went for you and your babe. Let us know how it goes in the comment section below. Thanks luv! πŸ’‹
